Do I need a terminal or can I just use my iPhone?

For most mobile trades, Tap to Pay on iPhone is all you need — no extra hardware, no monthly rental, and it works over 4G on any job site. For fixed depots or larger tickets we can also add a Zeller terminal.

Do card payments flow through to Xero or MYOB?

Yes — Zeller integrates cleanly with Xero and MYOB. We help set the reconciliation up so payments match invoices automatically.

Are there monthly fees?

No monthly terminal fees on Tap to Pay on iPhone — you only pay per transaction. Countertop terminals may have a small rental depending on the model; we'll show you the exact numbers before you sign anything.

Can I take a deposit before a job and the balance on completion?

Yes. Use Zeller Invoices to send a deposit link before the job, then tap the balance on your phone at handover — everything lands under the same account and reconciles into Xero or MYOB.

Does Tap to Pay on iPhone work on remote job sites with poor reception?

It runs on 4G, so anywhere your phone has mobile data, you can take a payment. For genuinely remote sites we recommend taking the payment on the driveway before you leave — most tradies get paid inside 30 seconds.

What are the transaction limits on Tap to Pay on iPhone?

Standard contactless caps apply for tap-and-go, but larger jobs can be taken via PIN-on-glass on the same iPhone — meaning invoices well into the thousands can be paid on the spot, no separate terminal required.

Can I use one merchant account across multiple ABNs or trading names?

Each ABN legally needs its own merchant account, but we can set up multiple accounts under one relationship with matching rates — so a sole trader building out a second trade or a Pty Ltd gets the same pricing without renegotiating.

Is there a lock-in contract?

No. Month-to-month, cancel any time. We'd rather earn your business every month than trap you in paperwork.

How fast can you install a new EFTPOS machine in Western Sydney?
